PASTOR Theophilia Afful

Discipleship Pastor

Theo is the founder and trainer at SET Services, LLC. She has a Master's degree in Educational Leadership & Management and over 20 years of teaching, training and coaching experience. She is a MA licensed Principal/Assistant Principal and ESL teacher in the PreK-6 school systems.  She is a certified Foundations facilitator and a Wilson Reading System teacher.

She has been a classroom teacher, ESL teacher, Lead Teacher, and an Instructional Coach in the Worcester Public Schools.  She also served as a Deacon Board member and a Stephen Minister for many years at NewLife Church. She currently serves in the following capacities at NewLife Church; Women’s Ministry Leader, Worship Team member, Meals Ministry volunteer, and as the Discipleship Pastor.

She is personable, meticulous, responsible, dedicated, creative, and hardworking. She believes that "if it must be done, it must be done well.”  She brings her knowledge and experience in educational leadership, language development, coaching teachers, and classroom management to promote and fortify growth and development of all believers in Jesus Christ.

Aside from all of these, her favorite thing to do is worship her Audience of One every chance she gets. She also enjoys spending time with her incredible son Selasi, who is her pride and joy.

Her greatest joy in ministry is seeing people grow in their love for the Lord and His Word while growing in ministry for the glory of God.
