Who We Are
The NewLife Ministry School is for the leader who is interested in advancing their knowledge of the Word of God. It is also for the person looking to strengthen their leadership skills and become more effective as they serve in this ever-changing culture. It is beneficial for those who feel called to ministry, serving as a pipeline to credentials.
It is our desire at the NewLife Ministry School, to equip leaders for the ministry assignment that God has for them. As our church continues to expand its ministry footprint in the area, leadership development is important to us and brings great value to the mission of our church – to make disciples (who make disciples!).
The courses are in-depth courses created by national Assembly of God (AG) leaders that will cover numerous topics. For “In House” purposes, our church has established a “Church Credential” track where ministry leaders can be further challenged, equipped, and released. These courses can also be transferred into the broader AG credentialing tracks if one so chooses and even taken for college credit if desired.
How it Works
The NewLife Ministry School is designed with flexibility to allow someone to obtain practical ministerial and deep theological education, all while maintaining their current employment. Each course combines roughly 15 hours of group seated classes and self-study guided. The seated courses are in-person with an online component on the Global University Student Portal site. The online classes are self-guided and must be completed before graduation.
A student may begin taking courses from the NL Ministry School at any time of the year and doesn’t have to wait for the start of a new semester. Students who are interested in obtaining church credentials, will need to complete each course and internships that corresponds to each of the courses taken.
